1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Amdemy platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, students, and instructors.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

3. Course Content

Amdemy provides a platform for instructors to publish educational content and for students to access that content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any course content.

  • Course content is provided for educational purposes only
  • Enrolled courses grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access the content
  • You may not download, copy, reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without authorization
  • Course availability and content may change without notice

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or instructors
  • Post misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service

5. Instructor Terms

If you register as an instructor, you additionally agree to:

  • Provide original content that you have the right to publish and distribute
  • Ensure your courses are accurate, up-to-date, and of reasonable quality
  • Not plagiarize or infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Respond to student questions in a timely manner
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your course content

Amdemy reserves the right to review, modify, or remove any course that violates these Terms or our content guidelines.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • Course prices are set by instructors and displayed in the applicable currency
  • All payments are processed securely through our payment providers
  • Once enrolled, you receive lifetime access to the course unless otherwise specified
  • Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase
  • Instructors receive their revenue share as outlined in their instructor agreement

7. Intellectual Property

The Amdemy platform, including its design, logo, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Amdemy and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Course content is owned by the respective instructors who created it. By publishing on Amdemy, instructors grant us a license to host, display, and distribute their content through the platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

  • Your right to access the Service will immediately cease
  • You will lose access to any enrolled courses
  • We are not obligated to provide refunds upon termination for cause

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Amdemy does not endorse, certify, or guarantee any course content, instructor qualifications, or learning outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amdemy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Amdemy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
